Life is short
but it's the longest thing
you'll ever do.

Wake up inspired again

You're probably here because you did what you were supposed to do and you're still wondering "is this it?". Or because you never quite managed it, and you've been beating yourself up ever since. Whatever your story, you haven't failed. There's another way, and I can help.

What if I never figure it out? What if I wake up one day and realise I wasted the whole thing?

Sound familiar?

You get exciting ideas, feel inspired, but self doubt and overthinking talk you out of it before you start.

Someone told you to be realistic once, and you've been taking their advice ever since.

You've changed jobs, cities, relationships, diets — and still end up feeling the same every time.

You watch people with less talent than you doing the thing you wanted to do.

You feel guilty for wanting more, because on paper you've got nothing to complain about.

You're scared you'll wake up old and full of regret that you never lived up to your potential

I understand the pain and frustration of feeling like you're not living the life you're capable of.

Gap Life exists to fix that.

// The solution

You escape the fear of not living up to your potential and living a mediocre life by becoming the kind of person who believes the plan will work. And then acting like it.

Being realistic is how your life stays unfulfilling. It looks like maturity, it sounds like good advice, and it is the most expensive thing you will ever agree to.

That's why I built Deliberately Unrealistic™ — 21 days to build the shameless self-belief required to escape mediocrity and claim the life you want.

Clear the old story
Step 01

Clear the old story

Get rid of the beliefs, habits and people stealthily holding your ceiling where it is. You can't hold a bigger vision on top of a story that says you're not the one who gets it.

Become Deliberately Unrealistic™
Step 02

Become Deliberately Unrealistic™

Build the courage to decide without a guarantee, perseverance so a bad week doesn't take the vision down, creativity to expand your thinking on what is possible. Learn how to practically and energetically hold a vision and the practice of listening to the pull instead of arguing with it.

Go off script
Step 03

Go off script

You do the thing you'd normally have talked yourself out of. The first time it works you've got proof — and proof makes the next decision easier, which makes more proof, and from there it runs away with itself. Eventually you're not being Deliberately Unrealistic™ any more. You just believe you can create what you want. And you do.

// Creating life on my own terms

I've been exactly where you're standing.

Hi, I'm Asha. I spent the first part of my life wanting something more and never knowing what more was. I left my corporate career. Went to kung fu school in China. Started a business, then took it apart with my own hands. Eight months falling apart, alone, in Bali — before I understood what it actually costs to have the life you want.

Sitting by infinity pool at sunset

I was never short on courage. I could leave, start, move, risk it, do the thing that made everyone else nervous. What took me two decades to work out is that self-doubt isn't a toll you pay once at the start. Every jump asked me to go back and deal with something I'd shoved under the rug — and the higher I set the bar, the deeper under there I had to go.

Today my life looks different: location independent, money made my own way, not a slave to a cubicle or a miserable boss. Happy. Healthy. Fulfilled.

None of what I teach came from a framework I learned in a "self-paced online course." It came from actually living it and getting it wrong enough times to eventually get it right — then building the shortcut I wish someone had handed me back then.

"You shouldn't have to shrink yourself to fit in society's box. You deserve to live a life of freedom, adventure and purpose."

// What people say

What people say.

I've worked with regular people, small businesses and multi billion dollar corporations. The people best placed to tell you what it's like to work with me are the people who've experienced it.

"Asha is a game changer. She brings her unique energy and style to the table and with it she is able to motivate and make real, tangible changes. When you think about a true leader, someone who really cares about the people — Asha comes to mind. The next time I need to make significant positive changes I would hire Asha without thinking twice."

// The film

Life is not a series of checkboxes.
It is a canvas for individual expression...

You have the ability to choose what you create. You create it by repeatedly paying attention to what pulls you (however small, weird or inexplicable), having the courage to step off the expected path, and discovering who you become through lived experience.
